CP1: A Cool & free color picker tool for Windows
The most common and trending job is Web designing (especially UI/UX designing) and Web development. However, the game totally depends on the color of the design. The best design comes out from a trending color in the market. Additionally, You can access a lot of other websites to pick the color but they will require a manual copying and pasting of the screenshot. You can do that easily with the help of CP1.
CP1 is a great tool for web designers, developers or anyone who loves to play with colors. There might be a condition when you feel that which color is it? You might have visited a clean and modern website which would have a definitely awesome color scheme, You might think which color they are using.
If you are a designer, probably you need to find out the latest colors from the internet for your projects to make them look modern and minimalistic at the same time. You can take a screenshot of the current window, which you want to pick a color from. Then you can open Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. There you can go and click on the eyedropper tool to choose a color from the screenshot. But that is a too long process.
The solution to this is CP1. CP1 can be the best solution with lesser settings so you don’t have to worry about anything. You just need to follow the steps to install and use the CP1 software in the best way possible for Windows.
Steps to follow
First of all, Download the CP1 software and install it on your desktop.
Now you will see something like this while opening it for the time being.
Now, navigate to the place where you need to pick the color from. Click on the color picker tool on CP1.
You will get the color displayed in the software along with 14 other alternatives, dark or light included. Select the color according to your choice.
Now you can copy the code of the color you selected. The color will be available with “#” tag or without “#”. Softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar ones don’t require code with the “#” tag. But if you are copying it for HTML webpage, you might require the color with “#” tag. Hence, You can copy according to your needs. What you need to do is just click on the color you want and it will automatically copy the code for you.
You can also access the history of whatever you have selected in anytime. You can navigate to History tab which looks like a clock. From there, You can access all the colors that you have seen earlier. Go and choose anyone to copy its code and use it with any software you like. It is similar to choosing from the normal palette.
The other alternative to choose a color from the desktop is to choose all the colors from the screen displayed. Yeah, You can do that too. To do so, navigate to the screen from where you wish to choose colors from. Then open the CP1 software. Now Click on “Export Color palette” which will show you all the colors from the current screen. You can choose whichever color you want, this is that easy.
However, You can also visit sites like materialui.co or coolors.co, where you will find the latest colors and also the most popular ones. There are alternatives for CP1 as well. Some of them are Colorpix and picpick.
